Where are the Secret Sites?
It took me over a year to compile this scavenger hunt of 90 unusual places in and around Chicago. There are several spots in the Loop, but I also wanted to encourage readers to explore Chicago’s neighborhoods. The locations range from Chicago’s northernmost neighborhood, Rogers Park, to the South Side communities of East Side and Beverly. Most are within Chicago city limits, but a handful are found in the suburbs.
How Did You Uncover These Secrets?
I wanted to get readers curious about neighborhoods and people all over Chicago, so I reached out to experts in various communities. From historical societies to bartenders, I uncovered some of the best secrets just by asking and met some wonderful Chicagoans.
